1. Purple sprouting broccoli. Shades of emerald and aubergine on a turquoise base. Yum.
2. 1 of 1000. Ruby red lips streaking across the billboards of Hackney.
3. More lips. "I see a Banksy and I have to paint it black." The Rolling Stones licking the banks of the Regent's Canal.
4. This confused me...an old council estate building with bricked up windows and portraits of ordinary folk on the facade... Upon further research it seems this building was declared condemned in 2007 and earmarked for urban renewal in 2011. "Locals decided to take portrait photos and put them up to cover the boarded-up flats - taking urban desolation and making it a work of art instead. 5. Sunny little marigolds brightening up the otherwise dull dirt. I remember having a salad with marigolds in, years ago at a cafe in Sydney. Heres a recipe that includes another of my favourite salad ingredient, glisteria. Thats its Cypriot name, Purslane in English:
